Predicting Psychosocial Risk with Lead Indicators

Predicting Psychosocial Risk with Lead Indicators

Would you like to predict your organisation’s risk of worker depression or burnout a year in advance?  This presentation from leading researcher and registered psychologist Dr Tessa Bailey will inform you about evidence-based lead indicators for psychological health and how to use them to develop a systematic approach to creating mentally healthy workplaces.  Dr Bailey will discuss different approaches to measuring lead indicators, increase your understanding of what will work best for your organisation and provide you with case studies demonstrating implementation of successful interventions across multiple organisations.

Speaker: Dr Tessa Bailey, Principal Consultant, Director, PSCiP

Dr Tessa Bailey is a registered psychologist and leading researcher who completed her PhD on Psychosocial Safety Climate & Psychosocial Safety Factors at Work, for which she received the 2019 Ian Davies award for the most outstanding PhD thesis in the University of SA.  Dr Bailey has 20 years experience working in the areas of human resource management, injury prevention, and injury management and was also a Research Fellow on the Australian Workplace Barometer (AWB) project at the University of South Australia which collected and analysed data on working conditions, worker health, and productivity for over 7000 workers from across all Australian states and territories since 2011.
