How will Blockchain technology impact and transform HR?
Blockchain is widely associated with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, however, blockchain technology is set to disrupt the way human resource (HR) departments are currently functioning. Accordingly, investments in blockchain technology will reach $11.7 billion by 2021, which is tremendous as it was only $1.5 billion in 2018.
This session is designed to introduce Blockchain, it's concepts, benefits and applications with a particular interest in how the technology will impact and transform the HR function in organisations. HR as a critical function becomes more complicated as organisations move towards contingent labour and operate outside traditional organisation boundaries. Blockchain technology will arguably impact the HR function more profoundly than ever imagined.
In this session the speakers will introduce blockchain use cases for the HR industry to showcase how HR functions will become transparent and simple.
