WA North Metro Online Forum

Navigating the ever-expanding and complex area of disability discrimination in the workplace can feel like it requires a law degree, and even with one it’s still challenging.

Join Franca Sala Tenna in this online forum as she discusses the legal framework and case law relating to workplace disability discrimination claims.

In the session Franca will provide her insight on the following key topics:

 • Legal requirements an employer has once an employee has disclosed a disability, or there are reasonable grounds to suspect they have a disability.
 • What you can ask from the employee and what you can’t, in relation to their disability.
 • How to balance the legal requirements to make reasonable accommodations to an employee with a disability while also protecting the well being of the other employees.

This Forum is suitable for:

All HR professionals and practitioners.
