Change Management

If you work in an organisation, then you’ll already be familiar with workplace change. Implementing new policies, new procedures, identifying and targeting new customer segments and marketing approaches, introducing new equipment to learn, moving to premises, welcoming new staff members and new organisational structures… the list goes on.

But often our experience of implementing changes at work is less than positive. Change may not happen at all, or the changes work for a while and then everyone goes back to the old way of working.

So, learning and applying some simple change management techniques can help you feel more confident planning and implementing workplace improvements with your team and make it easier to engage staff and align efforts.

In this session, you will get a practical introduction to:

  • the ADKAR® model for managing change (from Prosci®)

  • techniques for engaging staff

  • how appreciative inquiry can tap into the positive energy for improvement in your organisations

Speaker: Clare Mullen, Director, Raw HR

Clare has over 20 years’ experience of managing projects and people, planning and implementing change, and managing internal and external communications in small, medium and large organisations in Australia and the UK.

She has a Master’s degree in Marketing and is trained in change management, project management, facilitation, and Gestalt psychotherapy.

Clare loves working with managers to plan how to motivate and engage staff in continuous business improvement. She has received positive feedback about her creativity and ability to see the big picture, while also focusing on delivering the detail. Her positive and enthusiastic approach is a benefit to teams as they look at doing things differently.
