VIC NFP Online Network forum
Managing all the ins and outs within the workplace relations space can be exciting, but also very challenging! Based on demand from our past network event participants, this Not-For-Profit Network event will provide you with the opportunity to reflect on some of the trends and case law emerging for our not-for-profit organisations.
At this event Charles Power, Partner at Holding Redlich who is an expert in the field of workplace relations and safety will share with us the top 10 issues we need to be across, from casual conversion, flexibility arrangements, volunteers, wage theft, mental health illness and more. We will look at some case law to help us understand and identify the opportunities, with lots of time to ask those questions we do not always have the opportunity to ask so we can better support our workplaces.
If you have been grappling with issues like returning employees to work, managing mental illness and performance or what we need to put in place for volunteers then don’t miss this great opportunity to learn together about the importance of getting things right before issues arise, and what to do if problems do occur.
As this is our first in-person event for over 18 months we will also provide a networking opportunity to meet other HR practitioners working in the not-for-profit space to make new connections and reconnect with familiar faces. Everyone is welcome!
In this event we will cover:
- Top 10 issues we need to be across from an workplace relations perspective
- Learn from some case law that may shape thoughts on being more proactive and responding to the issues
- Learn about some of the trends that are emerging and how we can be at the forefront of common NFP workplace relations challenges
- Time for questions and networking
This forum is suitable for:
