Speaker: Jenni Devine, Director, Tax Scope
Jenni Devine is the founder of Tax Scope, providing Australian tax consulting and compliance services for international business, investment, and employment.
With a decade in an international business before becoming a tax professional, she merges client-side experience and care with tax expertise to streamline the cross-border experience as much as possible.
Speaker: Ernie Thai, Director - Expatriate and Employment Tax, Trident Financial Group
Ernie has over 15 years experience in expatriate and employment taxes and global mobility management. Ernie gained his private practice experience at big 4 accounting firms and a top 10 multinational accounting firm.
Having worked on large clients based in Australia and abroad, Ernie is experienced in being part of a lead engagement team and coordinating large global mobility programs.
As well as being an external tax advisor, Ernie has also gained valuable industry experience as a contractor/employee with various ASX listed companies. This has resulted in a deeper understanding of the commercial outcomes of what employers and their employees require in addition to simply providing technically sound advice.
Ernie is passionate about expatriate issues and advancing the field of global mobility; he has presented at various international human resource seminars and forums and served as a steering committee member for the Melbourne Chapter of the Forum for Expatriate Management.
