The International HRM Committee invites you to join them for the first IHRM network event of 2020.
In this session the panel will discuss these three topical issues:
• Relocation support requirements for millennial's and Gen Z employees.
• Cultural competency training.
• International mobility.
Following the panel session there'll be opportunity to network with HR professionals, while enjoying a chocolate egg buffet to celebrate Easter.

Speaker: Astrid Hofmann, Director, Cultural Transition Consulting
For over ten years Astrid has assisted public and private organisations to more effectively manage the challenges of working across cultures. Astrid has developed and delivered practical cultural awareness programs on large projects, such as the training of local officers for the Timorese government and preparing Victorian teachers for an international exchange program.
Speaker: Brian Gilligan, Partner, One World Mobility
Brian began his Global Mobility career nearly 20 years ago with PwC in the US. During his time with the Big 4 firms, Brian specialized in international HR consulting, administration, remuneration, payroll, and technology solutions. His Big 4 career led him to taking assignments himself to Australia and Switzerland.
After nearly 15 years, Brian became a Global HR Director for Jacobs Engineering, one of the world’s largest engineering firms. During his time with Jacobs, Brian oversaw a Global Mobility program with over 2,500 expats in over 50 countries and led various international HR projects across 24 countries.
Today Brian is a Partner at One World Mobility Pty Ltd. The firm specializes in assisting clients with international human resources and data analytics.
Speaker: Francis Leong, Business Development Director, Crown World Mobility
Francis has had over 20+ years of experience in the area of global mobility. He is currently the Business Development Director of Crown World Mobility and works with organisations to deliver an end to end integrated solution for the successful mobility of employees. This includes advising on the strategic importance of elevating the employee relocation experience with programs such as destination services and intercultural training to ensure a smooth and successful relocation.
Previously Francis spent the majority of his career at PwC consulting across all industry sectors on all aspects of international tax, employee tax and global mobility. This included advising start-ups beginning the process of sending people overseas to those with over 1,000+ assignees by helping those organisations navigate through the complexities of tax regulation and compliance, design and implementation of global mobility, remuneration and tax policies and to meet cost reduction and efficiency goals.
