Health Promotion in the workplace
Does your organisation have a focus on health promotion in the workplace?
If you are a HR practitioner, people manager or small business owner you’re invited to our next free forum to hear all about the importance of health promotion in the workplace, as well as initiatives employers can put in place.
Our diverse line up of speakers will give you an insight into what local community groups are doing about health promotion, as well as hearing from experts in the fields of audiology and dentistry.
Our experienced speakers in health promotion:
- Meg Miklosvary – Audiologist/Clinical Director – Gippsland Audiology
- Angela Greenall – Health Promotion – West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG)
- Dr Anand Makwana – Dentist - Warragul Dental Care

Speaker: Angela Greenhall, Health Promotion, West Gippsland Healthcare Group
Angela Greenall is a health promotion officer at WGHG. She works with kindergartens, schools and workplaces to help make healthier choices and also supports community groups such as the heart foundation walking groups, community gardens and Baw Baw Food Movement.
Angela has recently worked in partnership with Baw Baw Shire Council and Gippsland Water to facilitate the installation of water fountains in the town centres of Warragul, Drouin and Trafalgar. This is part of a project which aims to decrease consumption of sugary drinks and is a passion for Angela. High intake of sugar sweetened drinks in Baw Baw is of concern to Angela due to the direct links to obesity and 13 types of cancer.
