Speaker: David Tozer, Workplace Relations Advisor, Meerkin & Apel
David provides human resources and industrial relations advice in respect to Local Authority related matters, as well as private enterprise.
David was appointed to Meerkin & Apel after twelve years in Local Government, having started his local government career at Mildura Rural City working in the Rates and Best Value Units. A 12 month appointment at Mount Alexander Shire as Accountant was followed by a move to Moyne Shire, where he was the Manager of Organisational Development for six years before joining Meerkin & Apel in February 2012.
David provides support to all clients on matters regarding industrial disputation (including representation at the Fair Work Commission), specialist Enterprise Bargaining assistance along with general HR and IR advice. David also specialises in providing governance and legislative compliance advice, particularly relating to executive employment requirements.
