The Mercedes-Benz Gender Equality Journey
The aim of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is to support organisations in achieving equal opportunities and outcomes for all genders. In 2014, Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific was first accredited as a WGEA Employer of Choice - the only automotive company be WGEA citation at the time. Five years later, Mercedes-Benz has proudly continued to uphold their citation, adhering to criterion that is updated year on year, in order to reflect best practice.
At this event, the Mercedes-Benz HR Team look forward to sharing their story on why gender equality is worth pursuing, how they have overcome challenges in their pursuit, their steps towards citation and the lessons learnt along the way. This presentation is followed by an interactive workshop, where you can directly apply learnings from the presentation and discussions, such as how to help your organisation and clients develop an action plan towards gender equality goals such as achieving the WGEA citation.
