This forum is about providing an overview of how HR Analytics can help organisations detect
issues related to Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) within an organisation.
3 case studies will be presented around:
- Gender & job grade analysis
- Ethnicity & gender diversity
- Predicting ethnic diversity across teams in an organisation
This session is targeted at HR professionals from all levels who are interested in improving the D&I within your organisation.
Speaker: Sambit Das, People Scientist
Sambit has 15+ years of consulting in HR transformation and system implementation projects across the globe. His passion now is to contribute to research work that may help towards making workplaces better by finding answers to workforce problems in areas such as: employee productivity, well-being, employee attrition, diversity and inclusion, employee satisfaction, engagement surveys and outcomes, team dynamics and organisational network analysis and many more.
He offers HR consulting services to The Salvation Army that involves data migration of more than 10,000 employees and approx. 90,000 volunteers into a single HR system in 2019. Also collaborating with a retail company to assist them in setting up a people analytics road map.
Sambit has been pursuing an online masters in data science with Northwestern University since 2018 with specialisations in Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. He recently published the article ‘Exploring Recruitment Bias using Machine Learning and R’ in the prestigious Medium.com website, where it taps into the brains of the world’s most insightful writers, thinkers and storytellers to bring you the smartest takes on topics that matter.
