Attracting & Retaining High Performing Staff
We have all heard of, and are in the midst of the ongoing ‘Competition for Talent’.
This is an ongoing challenge for both public and private sector organisations to attract and retain high performing staff. How do we position our organisations to be employers of choice?
Come and hear from the ATO’s Assistant Commissioner Megan Boyd, as she outlines some of the measures the ATO has implemented to attract high quality staff and enhance the staff experience in general. Take away some tips and tools that may work for your organisation.
Speaker: Megan Boyd, Assistant Commissioner, ATO
Megan Boyd has worked in the ATO for 19 years and in July 2017 was appointed to the role of Assistant Commissioner in ATO People. Megan is heading up the HR Operations branch, leading the ATO Integrity unit, Talent Acquisition, Payroll Services, New Initiatives, People Helpline and Security Vetting & Establishment teams.
Prior to working with the ATO, Megan has worked for 13 different Commonwealth agencies in the ACT, NT and now in Victoria. Megan has worked in large, medium and small agencies including Centrelink, Office of the Employment Advocate and the Public Service and Merit Protection Commission.
