Speaker: Ian Stone, Managing Director, RAA
RAA's been around for more than 116 years, and takes pride in providing quality motor, home and travel services to its members in South Australia and Broken Hill.
Ian Stone was appointed Managing Director, RAA in August 2009 after holding the position of CEO since August 2007. He has extensive senior management experience and expertise in the motor, home and health insurance industry. He is a Director of RAA Insurance Ltd and various Australian automotive associated entities.

Lighthouse Disability provides services and support to adults living with complex and diverse disabilities such as physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury, and degenerative conditions.
Marj has over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles (CEO, Director) in government and not for profit human service organisations. She operates with a strong value base which is reflected in her leadership style in working extensively with vulnerable populations, including people with disability. She has particular expertise in change management and is proud to lead Lighthouse Disability as a viable business in the NDIA.
Speaker: Deborah Dickson, Executive Director of People and Safety, SA Housing Authority
SA Housing works with its customers, the housing and homelessness sector and the broader community to provide better housing opportunities for all South Australians.
Deborah brings a unique combination of both Marketing and HR experience at the executive level which delivers results. Her current role supports the development of SA Housing’s people through the development of cultural, human resources and occupational health, safety and welfare programs. Deb also brings a deep knowledge of adult development to her work and is an accredited Human Synergistics and Leadership Circle practitioner.
Speaker: Michael Waite, Chief Executive Officer, Shoal Group
Shoal helps clients define, manage and deliver big projects in complex environments by using a rigorous, complex systems engineering approach.
As Chief Executive Officer at Shoal, Michael provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to anticipate and meet the company’s needs, and effectively grow the organisation. Also, as a senior systems engineer, Michael has firsthand experience in the project management of large, complex socio-technical projects. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics) and an Executive Masters in Complex Project Management.
