QLD WHS/Wellness Online Network Forum

Each year 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental illness. Many people are not knowledgeable or confident to offer assistance. In addition, more and more organisations are realising the impact of mental health problems at work on their people and productivity.

The aim of this session is to introduce participants to developing an understanding of mental health problems in the workplace (and in today’s circumstances, when working at home); provide information to assist HR professionals in recognising that an employee may be developing a mental health problem; and provide an overview of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) key concepts.

This forum is suitable for:

HR Practitioners of all career levels, specifically in the roles of:
 - WHS
 - HR Business Partners
 - Anyone interested
