It’s easy to have a strategy, but it won’t succeed if you have no plan to deliver it.

In organisations, all to often the go-to solution to deliver change is ‘to do some training’ and then everyone’s surprised when nothing actually changes!

To deliver effective and sustainable change we need to identify the critical behaviours that our people need to change or start demonstrating.

In this session, Nick Swiatczak-Steele (Principal, Organisational Development at Townsville Hospital and Health Service) will share real examples of how to use Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels to deliver organisational change.

This forum is suitable for:

HR Practitioners of all career levels and roles.

Speaker: Nick Swiatczak-Steel, Principal, Organisational Development, Townsville Hospital and Health Service

Nick is responsible for identifying, designing and delivering capability projects at Townsville Hospital and Health Service in line with the organisation’s strategic plan with a specific focus on leadership effectiveness.

Prior to relocating to Australia, Nick had a 22-year career with Pfizer in Europe where he held a variety of business management roles including ten years’ experience in learning and development helping to develop Pfizer’s leaders at all levels across the business. Nick also led organisational change projects at a European regional level.

In his final role with Pfizer, Nick led a team of business consultants who delivered business improvement to the company’s customers; he was also part of a global team identifying and developing business solutions for customers in key markets.

Nick holds an honours degree in molecular genetics and spent two years as a post-graduate research student at Aberdeen Medical School. In 2011, he completed his certificate in learning and development from the UK’s Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD). He is also an accredited coach.
