Cooperative Conversations’ are a structured framework for productive organisational meetings. However, they are also much more than that. ‘Cooperative Conversations’ operationalise a philosophy of empowerment and engagement. The morale and productivity benefits are enormous for all teams, work groups, facilitators and organisations.
In this practical workshop, Ian Plowman shares techniques and skills applicable to any activity involving purposeful dialogue, which enable meetings to be great fun, twice as wise, and take only half the time. Those that attend will gain knowledge and understanding of the unique skills to enable effective dialogue and to contribute willingly, listen respectfully, consider deeply, ideate creatively, decide wisely and act confidently.

Ian Plowman is a Consultant, educator, facilitator and social researcher with over 30 years’ experience as an organisational psychologist. He works with groups, commercial enterprises, associations, industries, communities and government agencies. He holds a Doctorate in Management (researching innovation), an Advanced Masters in Business Administration, a Masters in Organisational Psychology and an Honours Degree in Clinical Psychology. Ian helps clients to develop skills and awareness to remove blockages and raise their levels of creativity and innovation, thereby bringing joy to the workplace.
