Embedding workplace learning through coaching
When seeking to build capability within an organisation and develop employees there are a range of tools and techniques we can use. Learning alone won’t necessarily shift behaviour or improve knowledge without context and application to the workplace. Coaching can help create the bridge between learning and application, training and knowledge, experience and memory.
Coaching provides the opportunity for focused, one-to-one discussions about how to apply new concepts and how to internalise these leanings to maximise the benefit for the individual and for the organisation. A coach can offer the support that individuals need in order to apply the tools and processes that have been taught in the classroom or other learning activities.
At this joint AHRI/ICF event, we’ll hear from HR/OD specialists and Coaches using coaching to support learning in their organisations. Our panel will share their experiences and top tips for implementing and maximising coaching as part of the L&D function.
Join fellow AHRI and ICF members for registration, drinks and canapes from 5:30pm, courtesy of the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
