Building a Workforce Analytics Function – from ah-hoc reporting to value-add through predictive forecasting and workforce research
Leading analytic organisations find the right balance between business application of analytical insight and sophistication of data usage and modelling. However, when addressing people analytics, many HR teams struggle with planning for and building this capability in the team and across the organisation.
In this session Adina will outline the Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA)’s approach to building a workforce analytics function aligned with the organisation’s strategic direction and pace, embracing agility, contributing to analytical capability development across all levels in the organisation and supporting evidence-based business decision making. Adina will take you through conducting your maturity assessment, developing a road map and implementation plan and rolling-out activities to mature workforce analytics, including report automation and conducting workforce experiments.
This session will benefit HR Practitioners who are looking to commence their organisation’s journey towards mature people analytics, and are keen to gain insight into successfully conducting this program of work in-house and with limited resources.
Speaker: Adina Leu, Assistant Director Workforce Analytics and Planning, Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA)
