Virtual Facilitation: Tips, Tricks and Techniques
How do you create a virtual learning experience as engaging, thought provoking and dynamic as a face-to-face workshop? And how can we ensure that it is not just exciting, but that it assists our learners to change their behaviour or build a new habit?
The first step is to recognise that learning virtually is not the same as learning face-to-face, and therefore requires specific design and delivery to make it work.
When we adopt a targeted and strategic approach to design and delivery, virtual learning can be as powerful (and sometimes even more powerful) in driving behaviour change and insight.
Leila Wearing is a seasoned virtual facilitator, having experience running virtual leadership development and talent programs across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Having lead the implementation of a virtual learning strategy at Accor Hotels and now as General Manager of Learning Ventures, she will bring case studies, tricks and tips, and of course some fun stories. Be prepared to walk away with some very practical skills that will help you transition your L&D to a virtual environment.
