Approaches to learning underwent a huge shift in many organisations in 2020. While
we are still living and working in the COVID era, we are looking to the future in
Australia. This is a period of sense-making and continued reinvention. It's time to ask
what really shifted in L&D during COVID? What should we keep? What should we
leave behind? What should we reinstate? And where do we need to continue evolving?

Speaker: Michelle Ockers, Founder of Learning Uncut and Co-Creator of Emerging Stronger, Learning Uncut
Michelle Ockers is the founder and Chief Learning Strategist at Learning Uncut. She
helps organisations and leaders build high impact L&D functions. Her work is focussed
on organisational learning strategy, building the mindset and skill set of L&D teams and
professionals, and enabling L&D to be a business partner that creates value. Michelle
also hosts the Learning Uncut podcast, sharing stories of real learning solutions told by
the people who made them happen.
Michelle was the Australian Institute of Training and Development’s Learning Professional
of the Year in 2019, and also received the 2019 Internet Time Alliance Jay Cross
Memorial Award for contribution to informal learning.
