This forum aims to share experiences and challenges supporting overseas talent when transitioning into an Australian Organisation.
The speaker will share her own experience in transitioning from South Africa to Australia as well as her learnings from leading major transformational projects in large global organisations.
Managing competing demands from diverse stakeholders in complex, uncertain systems requires a different order of resilience and adaptive thinking. Hanli will share her own experiences in managing diverse stakeholders and pursuing goals that lead to enhanced team and organisation effectiveness.
Audience will have a structured session to discuss and identify key areas that require HR support in ensuring that a culturally diverse talent pool have what they need to succeed in their role.

Hanli is an HR Leader with deep cross sector experience in global organisations across FMCG, Financial Services, Telecommunications and Manufacturing industries.
She is passionate about lifelong learning, personal growth and brings a multi-cultural lens to major business transformation projects. Having moved from South Africa to Australia seven years ago, Hanli has had personal experience in major career transitions as well as learned expertise in managing global teams in large multinational corporations.
Her experience as a HR Leader with SABMiller in South Africa, Lion, Optus and now Ventia in Australia contribute to a wisdom that can help other leaders enhance organisation, team and personal effectiveness.
