NSW ER/IR Network

The NSW ER/IR network committee invite you to join them for an end of year legal update on case law, court proceedings, foreshadowed IR policy and legislative changes.

In this session we will explore:
 - Impact of significant decisions – High Court in Mondelez (part-timers and annual leave) and Full Court of Federal Court in Rossato (casual employees or full-time and set-off clauses) 
 - Federal Court Qantas decisions on (non-Jobkeeper) stand downs under the Fair Work Act of Fair Work Commission Full Bench decision on when employers can seek reductions in redundancy pay
 - Contractor or employee? Owner/drivers might be employees - Full Court Federal Court - Jamsek; Uber Eats driver a contractor - Gupta re Portier Pacific.
 - Future legislative changes? IR Reform Working Group? "Respect@Work" - Sexual Harassment National Inquiry Report 2020?

By attending this forum you will gain knowledge of significant case law, policy and legislative developments with insight on how such developments will affect organisations and practical tips.
