Developing Leadership Skills in Your Organisation – A Local Approach

Employers are constantly looking for that high potential employee who stands out in the crowd as a leader. How can you help develop and uncover valuable leadership skills within your existing team of people to help drive your business performance?

Our guest speaker, Joanne McRae, will present on her experiences and successes in the field of leadership development. This interactive session will provide opportunities for discussion and sharing of initiatives and strategies to develop your next leaders.

Participants will walk away with new ideas and approaches that can be implemented in their own workplaces.

All HR professionals, People Managers and Business Owners will benefit from this forum.

Speaker: Joanne McRae, Director, Mayten Consulting

Jo’s professional experiences include teaching and management roles in secondary school and university settings, and delivery of Leadership and Management courses with TAFE Western. She runs her own business, Mayten Consulting and is director of a General Practice in Orange NSW.

In 2017 she was elected to Orange City Council and then elected as Deputy Mayor for 2017-18. She is currently Chair of Finance, Chair of Clifton Grove Community Committee, delegate to Orange 360 and delegate to the NSW Association of Mining & Energy Related Councils.

Jo’s community volunteering experiences have included Rotary, Orange Young Professionals, Orange Community Drug Action Team and the Western NSW LHD Health Care Quality Committee. She is passionate about informed and engaged communities, with a particular focus on education, inclusion, health, and LGBTIQ+ advocacy.
