AHRI has committed itself to raising the standards of the HR profession
We’ve introduced AHRI Town Halls as an opportunity for you, the HR community, to discuss the big questions about HR and the things that matter to you. This includes why HR standards are important in dealing with today’s business challenges.
Hosted by AHRI CEO Lyn Goodear, the town halls are a free, open forum rolling out across the year in each capital city to allow you the opportunity to join the conversation.
From city to town, the Town Halls will cover topics like:
How long will the business presumption last that ‘anyone can do HR’ last?
Does the HR profession have a future?
How useful are common language and accepted HR standards and practice?
How does HR build capability in the organisation?
To what extent is there a risk that emerging technologies will make HR irrelevant?
Why does AHRI persist with its HR certification mission?
Why are there different pathways to HR certification?
Refreshments will be served after the meeting to accompany informal sharing of thoughts and ideas. Although this event is free to attend, we encourage you to register.
Do you have a #bigHRquestion?
This is your profession, and we invite you to have your say in person or via Twitter using #bigHRquestion.
