A Balanced Future: Progressing Gender Equality Strategies in the APS and beyond, in discussion with PWC and the APSC
Gender Equality strategies are increasingly being used to provide organisations with a roadmap in which to achieve workplace gender equality. The APS Gender Equality Strategy is currently being enacted across the Australian Public Service in order to drive actions to progress gender equality, drive high performance and boost productivity across the service. The APS Gender Equality Strategy is due to be revised later this year, providing departments with a perfect opportunity to the effectiveness of their actions to-date.
In anticipation of this, PWC recently conducted research across the APS to identify progress against the strategy. The report entitled “Are we there yet? Progress of the Australian Public Service Gender Equality Strategy”, provides an evidence-based analysis of departmental actions, and makes six recommendations of areas for future focus.
Join us for a panel discussion with representatives from PWC and the Australian Public Service Commission to discuss those recommendations, learn from the findings, and further discuss best-practice means of utilising and implementing gender equality strategies.
Session speakers will be Alia Imtoual, APSC and Jane Fearn, PWC.
You will receive an automatic email and receipt to confirm your registration.
Registration closes Tuesday 23 July 2019
