Chapter Chat: An Ideas Exchange
The second “Chapter Chat: An Ideas Exchange” for 2017 is an opportunity for attendees to share ideas, thoughts and learnings which they have developed from pre-reading set material prior to the event.
This Chapter Chat session will focus on the book “The Power of Habit” by Charles Duhigg. Attendees do not have to have read the book prior to the event, but at a minimum will be required to have watched the following short video clips: http://charlesduhigg.com/the-power-of-habit/ and http://charlesduhigg.com/resources/how-the-military-uses-the-science-of-habits/. Additionally, attendees should review the “Guide to Changing Habits” available here: http://charlesduhigg.com/resources/a-guide-to-changing-habits/.
This session will be interactive and attendees will participate in a facilitated discussion regarding the themes and ideas raised by the articles and the book. It is a session suitable for HR professionals, as well as CEO’s and General Managers, managers of any background, employees at any level seeking to extend their skillset, and students.
Attendees can expect to gain new ideas and have their thoughts challenged, while walking away with some practical insights which they can implement in their work.
Facilitator: Donovan van Putten
